Kashayam (a classical herbal water decoction) is among the most venerable preparations of Ayurveda. Guluguluthikthakam Kashayam is prepared by Sitaram Ayurveda in the traditional Kerala manner, in which herbs of predominantly bitter (Thiktha) character are slowly simmered so their qualities pass into the water.

Preparations of this kind have long been taken in measured portions as part of a regular daily routine. Guluguluthikthakam is a formulation described in the classical Ayurvedic texts, here offered as a liquid concentrate to be diluted before use in the customary way.
How to use
Traditionally, a measured portion is diluted with warm water and taken at a consistent time of day, on the advice of a qualified Ayurvedic practitioner. It belongs naturally within a calm Dinacharya (the traditional Ayurvedic daily routine). Shake well before use. Do not exceed the recommended daily intake.
