Kottamchukkadi Churnam from Sitaram Ayurveda is a classical Ayurvedic herbal powder, prepared in the enduring tradition of Kerala. The Choornam (finely milled herbal powder) is one of the simplest and oldest forms in Ayurveda, offered here for external ritual use within a mindful daily practice.
Kottamchukkadi Churnam
A classical powder
A Choornam brings a practical formula of herbs, ground fine, into a single versatile preparation. Such powders have traditionally been used externally, commonly worked with a suitable warm liquid into a paste or poultice and applied with care as part of a grounding Dinacharya (daily routine). The powder form preserves the classical formulation and readies it for preparation in the home.
How to use
For external ritual use, blend a little of the powder with a suitable warm liquid into a smooth paste, apply to the skin, and allow it to settle before rinsing away. Please follow the directions on the pack or the advice of a qualified Ayurvedic practitioner, letting gentle care guide the practice.
Kerala heritage since 1921
Prepared to traditional methods under GMP quality standards, Kottamchukkadi Churnam continues the Kerala lineage that Sitaram Ayurveda has upheld since 1921, presented for those who hold the classical Ayurvedic ritual in daily regard.
