Koutaja Thriphala Lehyam is a classical Ayurvedic herbal paste that combines Koutaja (Holarrhena) with Triphala (Amalaki, Haritaki, Vibhitaki) and selected spices in a gently sweetened base of jaggery and honey. Prepared according to traditional methods by Sitaram Ayurveda.
Ingredients
Holarrhena antidysenterica, Terminalia chebula, Terminalia bellirica, Emblica officinalis, Azadirachta indica, Trichosanthes lobata, Cyperus rotundus, Zingiber officinale, Asphaltum punjabianum, Maranta arundinacea, Piper longum, Pistacia integerrima, Solanum xanthocarpum, Cinnamomum verum, Cinnamomum tamala, Elettaria cardamomum, honey and jaggery.
How to use
Unless otherwise advised by an Ayurvedic practitioner or healthcare professional, adults may take ½, 1 teaspoon (about 3, 5 g) once or twice daily, followed by lukewarm water.
Routine tips
Take Koutaja Thriphala Lehyam on an empty stomach or before meals with lukewarm water, unless advised otherwise. For an Ayurvedic-inspired routine, favour warm, freshly cooked meals, adequate hydration and regular mealtimes while limiting very heavy, fried or highly processed foods and late-night snacking. Gentle walking after food and consistent sleep, wake times help support a feeling of internal ease.
