Neem Powder from Sitaram Ayurveda is a classical Choornam (a finely milled herbal powder), one of the simplest and most enduring forms in the Ayurvedic tradition. Neem, known in Sanskrit as Nimba (the neem tree), has been a familiar presence in Indian households and gardens for centuries, valued within tradition for its clean, characteristically bitter nature.
Neem Powder
A classical Choornam
The Choornam form keeps the herb close to its natural state, a single botanical carefully dried and milled to a soft powder. In the classical setting such powders were kept ready for many customary uses, from being taken as part of a routine to being blended into pastes for external application.
How to use
As a food supplement, a small measured amount may be stirred into warm water as part of your daily Dinacharya (routine). For external customs, it can be blended with water into a smooth paste, applied, then rinsed. Follow the intake stated on the pack.
Heritage since 1921
Sitaram Ayurveda has prepared classical Ayurvedic formulations in Kerala since 1921, uniting traditional practice with modern GMP quality.
Food supplement. Not to be used as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Do not exceed the recommended daily intake. For external paste use, apply to a small area first. Keep out of the reach of children.
