Sathavari Gulam is a classical Ayurvedic preparation from Sitaram Ayurveda, built around Shatavari, one of the most revered botanicals of the Kerala tradition. It is offered as a traditional semi-solid, rich and careful, in the manner of the classical rejuvenative preparations.
Sathavari Gulam
The classical semi-solid form
A Gulam (a traditional semi-solid herbal preparation) is made by slowly cooking selected botanicals into a smooth, spoonable consistency, a method used across the family of Rasayana (classical rejuvenative preparations). Sathavari (the classical herb Shatavari) lends the preparation its name and its long-standing place in the texts. Such preparations are traditionally taken as a small daily measure within one's Dinacharya (daily routine).
How to use
Take a small spoonful as part of your daily routine, following the directions on the pack or the guidance of a qualified Ayurvedic practitioner. Many enjoy it on its own or stirred into warm water or plant-based milk.
Prepared by Sitaram Ayurveda in Kerala, an Ayurvedic manufacturer established in 1921, and made to GMP quality standards.
