Classically, a Kashayam is prepared by simmering herbs in water until their qualities pass into the liquid. This formulation draws on herbs of predominantly bitter (Thiktha) and astringent character. The tablet form allows the preparation to be included consistently within a daily routine, or Dinacharya (the traditional Ayurvedic daily routine), without the need to brew a decoction each day.
How to use
Take with warm water at a regular time of day, as part of your careful routine. For personalised advice, consult a qualified Ayurvedic practitioner. Do not exceed the recommended daily intake.
