Triphala Choornam is the classical three-fruit preparation in its most traditional form: a finely milled herbal powder. Prepared by Sitaram Ayurveda in Kerala, it carries one of the most respected formulations of the Ayurvedic tradition in the manner the old texts describe.
How to use
Take as directed by an Ayurvedic practitioner. Typically mixed with warm water or honey depending on routine advice.
Triphala Choornam
The classical form
A Choornam (herbal powder) is one of the oldest preparations in Ayurveda, made by drying and finely milling botanicals to a smooth powder. Triphala (the three fruits) combines three classical fruits of predominantly astringent and sour character, long valued for its balance and its steady place in everyday use. The powder form keeps the preparation close to its traditional expression.
Traditional place in a daily routine
Within Dinacharya (the classical daily routine), a Choornam is taken in small, measured amounts, traditionally mixed with warm water or another simple carrier. Triphala Choornam sits naturally within this settled daily routine.
How to use
Stir a small measured amount into warm water, or take as directed by a qualified Ayurvedic practitioner. The powder has the natural astringent character of the classical fruits. Store in a cool, dry place, tightly closed, away from direct light and moisture.
Prepared by Sitaram Ayurveda, Kerala, an Ayurvedic manufacturer established in 1921 since 1921, under GMP quality standards.
