Varanadi Kashayam
The classical form
A Kashayam (classical herbal decoction) is made by simmering a group of botanicals in water until their character is fully drawn into the liquid. Varanadi denotes the classical group of herbs around which the formulation is composed, following the arrangement described in the traditional texts. The finished decoction carries the natural character of its herbs.
Traditional place in a daily routine
Within Dinacharya (the classical daily routine), a Kashayam is taken in small, measured amounts, traditionally diluted with warm water, as part of a settled daily routine. Varanadi Kashayam should be used according to the current product label.
How to use
Dilute a small measured amount with warm water and take as part of your daily routine, or as directed by a qualified Ayurvedic practitioner. Shake well before use. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct light and keep tightly closed.
Prepared by Sitaram Ayurveda, Kerala, an Ayurvedic manufacturer established in 1921 since 1921, under GMP quality standards.
